"I am a Certified Residential Appraiser and Licensed Real Estate Broker, active in both professions in the Wilmington area. I take in my work and appreciate fellow real estate professionals who do the same. My family owns a house in Morehead City. Shortly after the latest revaluation, we received a letter from the Carteret County Tax Department indicating the new tax value they assigned to the property. We strongly disagreed with the valuation. Since Carteret County is outside my geographic area of expertise, I needed to find a local professional to assist us with an appraisal.
